My name is Sarah Brittin, and I'm so excited to share my photos with you!

I've had a love for photography since I was young, but it wasn’t until the digital age came that I realized a kind of freedom in the process that I hadn't experienced before. I started to feel like I could play with my camera in a way I never felt comfortable doing with film. (Maybe because taking hundreds of photos was very easy, or perhaps because you can immediately see the results of the composition and adjust accordingly.)

Since I started playing more with artistic photography, I've fallen in love with macro photography. I'm a nature girl, so the idea of turning something small into something much bigger than itself is absolutely fascinating—it brings out a hidden world. I continue to shoot broader landscapes, but most of my personal favorites are those photos that make something small seem grand.
